Gellman Associates in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., has announced the addition of Jim O’Ferrell to its sales staff. He will be responsible for selling vending product lines, equipment and coffee related products in the Virginia and West Virginia markets.
“We are very fortunate to have someone of Jim’s experience and stature in the industry to join our company,” said David Gellman, owner, in a prepared statement. “Jim has had substantial experience and relationships in the business, not only in sales, but in leadership and management positions. We know that Jim will make a substantial contribution in sales with his knowledge of the industry.”
O’Ferrell began his career more than 30 years ago in the Washington, D.C. and Virginia markets. Early in his career, O’Ferrell attended the Coffee Brewing Center in New York City. He has held senior management positions with Coffee Butler in Greenwich Mills, La., as well as Touraine Coffee, Wechsler Coffee, Ellis Coffee and Lacas Coffee. O’Ferrell has served as advisor in the Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association (VAMA) and North Carolina Vending Association (NCMA) as well as been a speaker for various distributor and restaurant associations.
