Three States Sue Energy Drink Company For Misleading Advertising

Three states—Oregon, Washington and Vermont—have sued the manufacturers of 5-Hour Energy for allegedly deceptive and misleading advertising, according to the Huffington Post. All three states are looking for a permanent injunction prohibiting what they call 5-Hour Energy’s deceptive marketing practices.

A 5-Hour Energy representative was quoted as saying the allegations were “civil intimidation,” and they will fight the allegations. Full article.
