ITO EN (North America), INC. is pleased to announce that TEAS' TEA® has been recognized with three new awards in the iced tea category at the 2013 North American Tea Championship. Winning two first place awards in the ready-to-drink green tea category, the TEAS' TEA Green Tea (Unsweetened) won in the unflavored/unsweetened category and TEAS' TEA half & half green tea with lemonade in the sweetened category. The half & half green tea with peach won third place in the flavored green tea category.
Produced by the World Tea Media, the entries in The North American Tea Championship are judged by a panel of professional cuppers, leading retail buyers of tea and restaurateurs and assessed through blind organoleptic analysis of the following characteristics: flavor, mouthfeel; color; clarity and balance. The ratings of each characteristic are calculated on an overall numerical value on a 100 point-scale, with winners determined by rank.
