The Talon Marks, a student newspaper for Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA, reports that the school plans to market an app provided by its vending machine supplier, Canteen. The dean of students believes the app, available through a QR code on the vending machine, will allow students to report reimbursements and refunds as well as look up nutritional information of products in the vending machines – making it very valuable service addition.
Canteen provides the snack vending at the college, according to the source. PepsiCo holds the beverage vending contract.
