Cantaloupe Systems announced a new loyalty program with Isis®, the mobile commerce joint venture created by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA, Inc. and Verizon Wireless.
By integrating the Isis SmartTap™ protocol on cashless-enabled machines, Cantaloupe Systems can fully leverage the Isis Mobile Wallet® to offer its customers loyalty and rewards programs starting with a “Buy-Three-Get-One-Free” promotion in the third quarter of 2014.
To participate in the Buy-Three-Get-One-Free program, Isis Mobile Wallet users will simply select their preferred payment card and tap their smartphone at one of Cantaloupe Systems’ cashless-enabled vending machines located throughout the country. After making three purchases using the Isis Mobile Wallet at participating vending locations, the customer will receive a fourth purchase free.
“We are very excited to be working with Isis and the possibilities opened by our work together,” said Mandeep Arora, CEO of Cantaloupe Systems, in a prepared statement. “Our vision for cashless has always been much deeper than simply accepting cards. We want our operators to have the ability to engage with their customers in a number of ways and the Buy-Three-Get-One-Free program is the first step in helping our operators do just that.”
“Cantaloupe Systems is a leader in innovative vending solutions, and we are pleased to work together,” said Jim Stapleton, chief sales officer, Isis. “Today’s news marks an important step forward as the vending industry continues to move beyond simply payments to deepening customer relationships through loyalty and rewards programs.”
