Five Star Breaktime Solutions acquires Integrity Vending in Atlanta
Five Star Breaktime Solution has acquired Integrity Vending. The acquisition will enhance Five Star's market presence and service capabilities in Greater Atlanta.
Integrity Vending was founded in 1998 by Jamie McWilliams, who first joined the vending industry in 1973. For 25 years, McWilliams helped grow several other vending companies before purchasing some accounts and launching Integrity Vending in the late ’90s. Within two years, McWilliams had grown the business to nearly $1.5 million in sales. McWilliams’ commitment to excellent service is credited with helping his company weather economic downturns such as the impact of 9/11 and COVID when a number of other companies in his region failed.
After a more than 50-year career, McWilliams decided to retire and spend more time with his wife, Saifon. Familiar with many Five Star team members, McWilliams felt confident that Five Star was a company he could trust to take care of his customers, noted Patrick Barger, director of mergers and acquisitions at Five Star. “We are grateful that Mr. McWilliams has entrusted us with the keys to his business,” Barger said.
The acquisition was completed on December 6. Because Five Star already has multiple well-established operations locally in the Greater Atlanta region, the existing Integrity routes will be added to the best local area branch for management and oversight, according to C.J. Recher, vice president of marketing for Five Star Breaktime Solutions. “We will be adding over 50 new customer locations, which we may eventually integrate or optimize routes for service efficiency,” he added.
This acquisition will allow Five Star Breaktime Solutions to leverage Integrity Vending’s established infrastructure to enhance service delivery and introduce new offerings to a broader customer base. All Integrity locations will be added to Five Star’s existing VMS database for inventory and service management.
With this transition, clients can expect a seamless transition with continued commitment to high-quality service and innovative solutions. “We strive for little to no service disruption, continuing to service as Integrity currently does. Over time, we will evaluate each location and what services might be a good fit. For instance, some might make a good breakroom market location, or for others, we can add services like coffee, water, pantry, and/or hot food service,” Recher noted.
