McKee Foods, a family-owned company based in Collegedale, Tennessee, and introduced Little Debbie Vending in 2012, recently announced leadership changes.
Kelley VandeLune, national Foodservice sales manager for McKee Foods, retired Friday, July 1, after 18 years of leadership. VandeLune started his career with McKee Foods in 2004 and was instrumental in the creation of the Fieldstone Bakery brand in 2007. Prior to McKee Foods, he was with Dean Foods, Nabisco and Brian Foods in both retail and foodservice roles.
“We thank Kelley for representing our company so well and for his leadership in pioneering and growing our brands,” Deris Bagli, vice president of sales, said in the announcement.
Roger Olmstead has been named the new national sales manager, Foodservice, effective July 2. Olmstead has been with McKee Foods for 22 years, starting as a district sales representative in Missouri representing the Little Debbie and Sunbelt Bakery brands. He joined the Foodservice sales team in 2016 as the midwest regional sales manager before becoming the business development manager handling all contacts with national accounts.
“We are excited to have Roger leading the team to carry on the great tradition of growth that Kelley has spearheaded for the past 18 years,” Bagli said in the announcement.
