Primo Water kicks off new year with trio of acquisitions in the U.S. and Europe

Primo Water Corp. and its subsidiaries are kicking off the new year with three acquisitions that will strengthen its positions in United States and western and central Europe.
Tampa, FL-based Primo Water North America announce two acquisitions this week. First, PWNA has acquired Clear Mountain Refreshment Services, dba Premium Refreshment Service, of Little Rock, AR. Second, it acquired the Mountain Valley distributor business of North Texas Mountain Valley Corp., dba Water Event, which operates five locations in Texas. Both transaction are for "substantially all of the assets" and terms were not disclosed.
"With a combined customer count that exceeds 17,000 and an area that includes a population of nearly 20 million residents, these companies will fit seamlessly into the Primo family and align with our mission of inspiring healthier lives through better quality water," said Primo chief executive Tom Harrington.
Separately, Primo has acquired Sip-Well NV, the leading distributor of water solutions in Belgium for an undisclosed sum. According to Primo, SipWell, founded 1993, is uniquely positioned as the premium Belgium water solutions brand and offers highly functional and attractive cooler models and bottle design to more than 20,000 customers.
The Sip-Well acquisition further strengthens Primo's presence in western and central Europe. It follows the company's acquisition of Poland's Get Fresh in October.
