Mark Minaglia has joined AVS Companies as the equipment distributor’s new vending sales manager. He will be based at AVS’s headquarters in Elk Grove Village. IL.
The vending veteran brings to his AVS post some 25 years’ experience in vending route operations and sales.
“The knowledge Mark can share from his years in route operations will provide our customers valuable insight in equipment selection and best practices,” said Tom Vogt, vice president of AVS’s vending division.
Minaglia grew up in the vending industry, starting at Rainbow Refreshments, a family-owned operation, and most recently Absolute Vending Services of Rosedale, IL.
AVS Cos., founded in Chicago in 1971 by Frank Gumma Sr., was formerly known as American Vending Sales. In addition to its Illinois main office, the company maintains sales, parts, refurbishing and repair facilities in Minnesota, Texas and Wisconsin.
