Man Shatters Glass-Front Vending Machine

Earlier in the week a man broke into a vending machine by smashing its glass front in a hospital in West Virginia because he said he was thirsty, according to WHAM.  

Security at the hospital said the man threw a chair into the vending machine to retrieve a water bottle. Police found the man in the waiting room of the hospital and asked if he had broken the vending machine. The man told the police he had needed water and security would not help him.  

The complaint said the front glass of the vending machine was shattered. The vending machine in question is valued at about $3,500.
