Hearthside Food Soon To Be Acquired By Partners Group, Charlesbank

The deal to acquire Hearthside Food Solutions LLC by private equity firms Partners Group Holding AG and Charlesbank Capital Partners LLC is closing in, according to sources. Reuters reports the private equity firms will acquire Hearthside Foods for more than $2.4 billion, including debt. Sources said that if negotiations are completed successfully, a deal could be announced as early as Monday, though they cautioned there was always a possibility that talks could fall apart at the last minute.
