Starbucks To Close Teavana Stores

FoodNavigator-USA.com reports Starbucks' recently announced its decision to shut down Teavana stores. According to Charlie Cain, who served as Teavana's vice president of concept development and franchising until January 2015, Starbucks' decision "does not come as a surprise nor is it a bad sign for the specialty tea market." Starbucks announced the decision during its earnings call last week and said it would close the majority of its Teavana stores by Spring 2018.
