Kellogg Company To Close New York State Trucking Hub

The Times Union reports that Kellogg Company's snacks division is closing its trucking hub at the Rotterdam Industrial Park in Rotterdam, NY, as part of a nationwide plan to ship its products directly to supermarket warehouses. In February, Kellogg that its snacks unit would close its distribution centers and transfer the inventory to the warehouses of the retailers it works with. This latest closure in Rotterdam will result in five drivers being laid off.
