USConnect is celebrating its second anniversary this week at the NAMA ONEShow by hosting the Sunset Shindig, a pool side party at the Wynn hotel. Over 130 affiliate and supplier attendees are expected.
USConnect has accomplished a lot in just two years. To date, 53 independent vending operators have joined USConnect's "family of companies," with aggregate annual revenue of over $750 million, about 120,000 vending machines and over 2,000 micro markets. The goal of the group is to be the largest connected food service organization in the US and to provide seamless end consumer satisfaction. Currently there are over 50,000 vending machines equipped with telemeters and over 30,000 of those are providing cashless vending.
USConnect is now offering end consumer product promotions and about 15,000 redemptions are occurring per week in the test locations.
The USConnect team has grown to seven employees working with the affiliates regarding deployment of telemetry, cashless vending, micro market integration, nutrition services and new account marketing and sales.
The USConnect national account effort is moving forward having provided affiliates with over 100 business and industry locations. Ongoing national account sales are fueling the need for expansion of the affiliate network.
"USConnect has been such a rewarding experience having the opportunity to meet and work with the best operators coast to coast," says Jeff Whitacre, CEO of USConnect, "and I look forward to assisting more operators move to the business model of the future."
