Wyoming Legislators Reject Minimum Wage Increase

For a second time, Wyoming lawmakers have rejected a proposal to raise the state’s minimum wage, according to the Casper Star Tribune. Senate File 131 would have increased the state’s minimum wage to $7.75 per hour on June 30, 2015, then to $8.50 in 2016, $9.25 in 2017 and $10.00 per hour in 2018.

House Bill 218, which would set the state’s minimum wage to equal that of the federal minimum wage, is still active this legislative session. Full article.
