(CHICAGO) October 2, 2014 – NAMA announced today that this year’s CTW will feature a complimentary tour of the Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee roasting facility in nearby Fort Worth, Texas.

“Attendees will have the unique opportunity to see first-hand behind-the-scenes this coffee and tea supplier hard at work, and learn what it takes to deliver these hot and iced beverages to consumers – field to cup,” said Dean Gilland, NAMA Vice President of Sales and CTW.

Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee has been a widely-recognized supplier of beverages in innovative formats, flavors and packages for more than 100 years, and is currently the fourth largest roaster in North America. The Fort Worth production plant and distribution center boasts two roasters and cutting-edge technology in roasting, grinding, packing and production and quality control.

In addition to a tour of the plant, Mother Parkers will conduct a coffee cupping session in their state-of-the-art cupping lab.

The tour, at no cost to CTW attendees, will take place on Thursday, November 13, following CTW’s closing session. Boxed lunches will be provided as well as complimentary transportation, with busses departing the Hyatt Regency Dallas at 12:30pm, and returning at approximately 4:15 pm.

To participate, please RSVP to [email protected] by Monday, November 3.
