Crane Payment Innovations, or CPI, born from the Crane Co. acquisition of MEI Conlux, will be exhibiting at the NAMA OneShow in Chicago, Ill. (Booth No.513). In addition to highlighting the united portfolio of Crane Payment Systems and MEI Conlux products, CPI will also introduce enhancements to the cash, cashless and vending management solutions available to operators.
“It’s energizing to think about what CPI will be able to offer customers,” said Jeff Jordan, CPI president of vending, in a prepared statement. “We have been able to identify some early opportunities for immediate customer benefits that we will feature in the CPI booth during the OneShow. Our efforts have really just begun, but the excitement regarding development on new and existing technology platforms has our teams anxious to begin the hard work of delivering those solutions.”
Coin and note products from the Cashcode, Conlux, MEI and NRI brands offer the most comprehensive portfolio of cash management solutions to the vending industry, according to the release. The acquisition not only signifies the potential Crane sees in its ability to add value to applications that rely upon cash transactions, but it also expands the routes to market accessible to operators. The “I” for Innovations is significant as the aforementioned brands and those not specific to the industry (Money Controls and Telequip) have a long history of delivering technologies that generate documented returns on capital investments.
“Achieving our vision for CPI will be dependent upon collaboration with our loyal customer base. As we move forward in the evolution of our business, our focus will remain on serving our customers with exceptional performance from our brands and customer service teams. The journey will take time, but the results will be rewarding for our customers,” said Jordan.
Corporate and customer-facing functions are in the process of being consolidated and are expected to formalize on April 1. The intent is to have Crane Payment Systems and MEI act as separate companies in a “business as usual” state until core functions can be assimilated in a manner that is seamless to customers.
Jordan concluded, “The CPI team is looking forward to officially celebrating the new company launch during the OneShow. We encourage attendees and industry partners to join us in our booth during the week and also an hour before the close of Wednesday’s show, when we will host a cake-cutting ceremony led by our COO, Kurt Gallo.”
Operators can also connect with CPI during the OneShow by attending one of three customer events, which include a customer appreciation event, EASITRAX user group session and EMV technology panel. Email [email protected] or visit www.meivending.com for more information on these events.
