Large Retailers Launch In Store Mobile Payment Services

Retailers like Starbucks, Nordstrom and Finish Line are giving mobile payment systems a boost by launching mobile checkouts, according the Indy Star Newspaper. These retailers allow credit/debit payments anywhere in the to a clerk carrying a specialty equipped mobile device. The phones can scan merchandise and run cradt/debit cards. Receipts are printed at various hidden printers or emailed to customers. Customers avoid traditional cash register checkout lines. Full article.
