With the first semester of the school year underway, Sodexo has launched four new eat>NOW frictionless grocery stores. The stores, powered by Amazon Web Services, are located at Endicott College, the University of Maine, Orono, Lindenwood University, and Seattle Pacific University.
“By combining cutting-edge technology with everyday convenience, we’re elevating the campus experience and offering students a modern, seamless shopping solution," said Brett Ladd, CEO of Sodexo Campus and Government. "These stores are designed to address the evolving needs of students while fostering a more dynamic campus environment.”
Each store is tailored to its campus, but each offers beverages, snacks, healthy options, grab-and-go meals, dorm supplies and bakery items. At Endicott College, the Gull & Go store is located in Venuti Hall, a new residence hall building. At the University of Maine in Orono, the store is located in a new building on campus. At Lindenwood University, the Lion’s Pride Market represents a takeover of an existing space. At Seattle Pacific University, the new market, expected to open this month, will take over an existing space.
