In response to increased customer demand for highly automated self-checkout solutions, 365 Retail Markets has entered 2013 with 34 employees and plans to roll out game-changing technology at this year’s National Automatic Merchandising Association OneShow in Las Vegas, Nev. 365 Retail Markets is building what they term a "smarter" micro market by integrating feedback from current customers, and responding to needs and trends within the vending and foodservice industries. To accommodate these needs, the newly expanded 365 Retail Markets team is developing new products, services, and enhancements that will be launched throughout 2013.
“2012 was the breakout year for our company – and our micro market technology – across the US and Canada. As a result, we added 17 jobs this January and plan to add more in the coming months to the Metro Detroit economy. We now have the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds in the business. We are excited about 2013 and our next 17 hires," said Joseph Hessling, 365 Retail Markets CEO, in a prepared statement.
To achieve their goal of “building a smarter micro market in 2013” 365 Retail Markets expanded their staff by 17 employees during a time when the Michigan unemployment rate was at 8.9 percent (December 2012). Many of the new employees were excited to join the company after attending a career open house that highlighted 365 Retail Markets technology.
"By chance I saw a post on LinkedIn about an open house at 365 Retail Markets and decided to check it out. I was very impressed with the company, its technology, and the employees. I applied for the HR/Office Manager position and after two interviews was offered the job. Attending the open house was the best decision I have ever made," said Mary Ellen Seymour, 365 Retail Markets iCash Manager.
The new employees are embracing the customer-focused philosophy of 365 Retail Markets and the pioneering spirit of its executive team.
"I have spent nearly 20 years in software development and find the 365 Retail Markets attitude towards customer service extremely refreshing. The 365 Retail Markets executive team understands that success is measured by happiness, starting with our customers and ending with ourselves. I am excited to be part of the future in micro market technology,” said Cliff Dabrowski, 365 Retail Markets lead programmer.
“365 Retail Markets takes a pioneering approach to product development. Where other companies imitate – we innovate. Our goal is to give our customers ultimate flexibility and customization through our MicroMarket technology. The only hint I’ll give about this April’s launch is that something small is coming with a new product that will bring even more convenience and accessibility to our MicroMarket solution,” said Hessling.
