JetBlue To Open Five Book Vending Machines In Detroit

This summer five new vending machines that dispense complimentary books are launching across Detroit, MI. ClickOnDetroit reports that the book vending machines will be installed in five locations across the city, with a variety of books that will be updated once every two weeks.

The vending machines are part of JetBlue’s “Soar with Reading” program created to combat “book deserts” that exist in Detroit. Children are encouraged to take as many books as they wish, free of charge.
