South Dakota Ambulance Dispatcher Catches Vending Criminal

An on-duty ambulance dispatcher caught a man stealing coins from a local vending machine in Brandon, S.D., according to the Argus Leader. Jesse Duncan, the ambulance dispatcher, was watching video surveillance and noticed a man struggling with a vending machine outside. Duncan stopped the thief from stealing coins inside the machine, but the suspect escaped on foot. He was later apprehended by authorities.
