Zip, available from Vendors Exchange International, releases new features for the Zip Cashless Payment System: an Auto-Free and Token/Coupon Key. The new Auto-Free Key is given to the location when the client wants the machine on free vend for special parties or events. The key can be inserted into the machine during the event, so the machine is available for free vend. When the event ends, the key is re-inserted and the machine returns to cash vending. The Token/Coupon Key allows the vending location to give each employee a limited number of free vends in selected machines without having to deliver tokens or coupons. The special key is inserted into the selected machines and the employee can then insert their key allowing tokens to be electronically added to their key.
