Police Arrest California Man In Connection With Vending Machine Vandalism

Michael Tony Sampson was arrested after a police officer allegedly witnessed him drilling a lock out of a shopping center vending machine in Petaluma, CA, according to the Press Democrat. 

An officer was patrolling the area due to recent vending machine burglaries and vandalism. When the suspect was spotted, he fled on foot but was caught. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail along with another man who was arrested nearby on suspicion of prowling.
