Organic Valley, a farmer-owned cooperative known for its organic dairy products, has launched oat-based creamers, its first plant-based products. Organic Valley Oat Creamers are made with oats sourced directly from its U.S. organic family farms, says the manufacturer, reflecting its long-standing approach to supporting organic and sustainable farming.
The dairy-free, nut-free and lactose-free oat creamers are offered in four flavors: cinnamon spice, caramel, vanilla and oatmeal cookie. Each has 30 calories per serving.
Laurie Drake, vice president of marketing at Organic Valley, cited company market research that shows that its customers seek out and purchase plant-based beverages. "We're always looking to raise the bar with product innovation and now our consumers have even more creamer options in a plant-based form," she noted in a release.
