Boyer Candy Co., makers of the famous Mallo Cup, is re-launching its specialty ingredients, the Boyer’s Original Peanut Butter Cup Pourable Curl Sauce and Mallo Cup Topping, to the dairy and foodservice industries. According to the company, the curl sauce is great as a topping or variegate injected into ice cream. Other uses include baking cookies, pies, brownies, mousse, Asian salad dressing and Thai Noodles.
Boyer’s recommends the Mallo Cup topping and curl sauce as not only a standard in the dairy industry for ice cream, but also as an ingredient in cupcakes, yams, ambrosia and baked Alaska.
"The formula has not changed since 1940 when it was created," said Deborah Forgione, director of marketing for Boyer Candy Co., in a prepared statement. "We have given our quality products a packaging face lift and refocused our marketing efforts to showcase our ingredients versatility in the food service industry."
Boyer ingredients are gluten free, Kosher and made in the USA. The foodservice products are now available for immediate delivery.
