Pirates Booty Brand To Be Acquired By B&G Foods

B&G Foods Inc. will acquire Robert’s American Gourmet Food, owner of the Pirate’s Booty brand, for $195 million, according to the Associated Press. B&G Foods, which produces foods under brands such as Cream of Wheat, Mrs. Dash and Grandma’s Molasses, will also take on Robert’s American’s Smart Puffs and Original Tings brands.
