“This was our most dynamic meeting we’ve had in ten years, thanks to the participation of Congressman Steve King, Jim Brinton of Avanti Markets and nearly 45 total attendees,” said Iowa Automatic Merchandising Association (IAMA) president Chuck Tuttle, in a prepared statement.
“The Des Moines Marriott was a great change for us; the venue was conducive to the meeting and the show needs. Above all, there are two people I would like to thank: Ashilyn Sunderman, IAMA executive director and Rod Nester, IAMA and NAMA board member, for their hard work in making the meeting such a success,” he continued.
“It’s really a value-add for our attendees, to have our Congressman participate in our meeting, to hear our issues. I am very grateful that NAMA’s Eric Dell was able to help make Congressman King’s attendance a reality.”
Among the many new members who attended, NAMA board members including Heidi Chico, Wittern; Rod Nester, Smith Vending; and Steve Hyde, Holiday House Distributing, participated in the meeting, rounding out the perspectives represented.
