The Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association (VAMA) will hold its 2013 membership meeting and general assembly on Jan. 29, 2013 at the Berkeley Hotel in Richmond, Va. Operators and suppliers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Networking will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the meeting will start promptly at 8 a.m. with Delegate Mike Watson as the guest speaker. VAMA has supported Watson's campaign in the past and he is considered a friend to the industry.
Following the guest speaker, VAMA's legislative consultant, Jeff Smith of the Smith Group, will be presenting a legislative update. The VAMA board and committee meetings will start at 10 a.m., followed by a Vistar-sponsored lunch and a visit “up the hill” to the general assembly building so attendees can meet and talk with legislators.
