Vistar Opens Public Snack Warehouse In Tennessee

Richmond, Va.-based Performance Food Group’s Vistar is opening a wholesale cash-and-carry Merchant’s Mart in the spring of 2013 in Nashville, Tenn., according to the Tennessean. A spokesperson for Centennial, Colo.-based Vistar told the paper it plans to take the best of what it offers vending customers and offer it to the public. The Merchant's Mart will carry more than 3,000 items designed for small restaurants, offices, vending machine operators, nonprofit organizations, schools, sports programs and the public. Full article.
