The California Automatic Vendors Council (CAVC) board of directors will hold its first board meeting of the year on Jan. 22, 2013, at the Embassy Suites Ontario-Airport in Ontario, Calif. at 3663 E. Guasti Road, Ontario, CA 91761. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by lunch.
CAVC’s legislative consultant will provide an update on the upcoming California legislative session and will be discussing the CAVC proposal to eliminate taxes paid on snacks and other food and beverage items sold through vending machines. CAVC President Larry Atnip of the Atnip Co. in Fullerton, Calif., will also be reviewing the revised CAVC Strategic Plan.
