Vending industry veteran, and AM/VMW's 2011 Manufacturer Rep of the Year Winner, Heidi Chico, will present strategies vending operators can use to avoid penalties and meet regulations in regards to the Americans with Disabilities Act and calorie disclosure laws at the 2012 Atlantic Coast Expo in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Chico, president of the Wittern Group, which owns of U-Select-it, has worked in the industry for 24 years, watching the trends in the industry and focusing on what manufacturers can do to meet the industry’s needs. On Friday, Oct. 5, during ACE, Chico will be sharing her experience with attendees as she discusses the ADA requirements for placement of payment and delivery systems on vending equipment, and for disclosing nutritional information about vending products to consumers before purchase.
