SandenVendo America Celebrates 75-year Anniversary At National Automatic Merchandising Association OneShow In Las Vegas
SandenVendo America continues a 75 year tradition as the world’s leader in technology and innovation in the vending industry. The company is celebrating its history at the National Automatic Merchandising Association OneShow at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
SandenVendo America was founded in 1937 as Vendo in Kansas City, Mo. Vendo later acquired and merged with Vendorlator to form The Vendo Co. in 1956. In 1980, The Vendo Co. moved all production and corporate offices to Fresno, Calif. The Sanden Corp., a leader in compressors and environmental systems, purchased the Vendo Co. in 1988. In 2005, The Vendo Co. moved to its current home in Dallas, Texas to become SandenVendo America.
This history has seen technology transform from ice-bath styled refrigeration tubs and insulation provided by bark from the Giant Redwood trees of California’s Sierra National Forest, to a global contract with the Coca-Cola Co. as a pioneer of CO2 charged compressors and refrigeration systems and the first manufacturer to utilize a completely HFC free Cyclopentane-blown, liquid foam injection process.
SandenVendo America invites you to discuss our industry’s past, present and future at this year’s NAMA OneShow. Please see us at Booth 201.
