This Vending Machine Gives Free Alkaline Water For A Tweet

Dec. 29, 2016

Los Angeles, CA, October 2016—Los Angeles-based company Aguavida Premium Water is giving away free refills of alkaline water in exchange for a Tweet or a post on Facebook.

This machine, now located at the Whole Foods in Venice, CA, works as a regular vending machine by dispensing alkaline water from 1 liter up to 5 gallons and accepting cash, credit cards, Apple and Android Pay. The company is hoping to get people even more excited about the green bulk shopping practice by integrating social media to promote their unique water and connect with new customers.

“Aguavida strives to reinvent the bulk water vending business. Our business is not selling water; our business relies on giving people a new, healthy way to hydrate, while providing the best experience possible. Everything is relevant to us, from how we purify our water to the way one can get Aguavida,” said Andrea Ardila, president of Aguavida Premium Water.

The new technology works through the state of the art system called cashless Pay-Per-Tweet platform. Through this platform, potential customers are able to visit the machine, place their own containers and exchange their tweet or Facebook post for a free gallon of alkaline water.
