Medeco announced that it has been awarded the Security's Best Award at the ASIS International 2013 Accolades competition for its M100 iClass Aperio mortise cylinder.
The ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognizes the security industry's most innovative new products, services and/or solutions. A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technology evaluated all entries and selected the top 10 from more than 600 companies exhibiting at ASIS 2013.

This is the second award we've won for this product and further showcases our unique ability to couple the latest in security technology with wireless access technology from Aperio."
The Medeco M100 eCylinder with Aperio technology offers an easy retrofit solution for mechanical door hardware, adding access control to any door by simply switching out the cylinder, according to the release. Local wireless communication between the M100 and an Aperio hub connects to the existing EAC (electronic access control) system, eliminating the cost and inconvenience of bringing wiring to the door.
The M100 is now available through a bundle kit, which consists of all the hardware necessary to install a complete one-door wireless access control solution, containing the M100 mortise cylinder along with an Aperio Weigand Hub.
