Vending Machines Help Drive Fastenal Sales

The Fastenal Co. of Winona, Minn. recently reported a 13.3 percent net sales increase for the quarter and year end of Dec. 31, 2012. The report notes that 25.8 percent of the total sales are to customers with vending machines.

In the release, Fastenal refers to the industrial vending machines it operates as a "rapidly expanding component of our business." The company intends to sign 30,000 FAST Solutions^SM industrial vending machines in 2013.
