SHEBOYGAN, December 7th, 2016 – The Torke Coffee Roasting Company today announced Jay Torke has been named President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. As President and COO, Torke will have responsibility for all of the Company's operating units. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ward Torke.
Torke, 41, is a 15-year veteran of Torke Coffee, INC. and since 2011 served as COO of the Torke Coffee Company’s Foodservice and CPG divisions, which comprises 7 states primarily in the Midwest. Under Torke’s leadership, the divisions have become the Company’s steady growth and profitability driver’s year over year. As a matter of fact, Torke has strategically expanded its brand portfolio and improved execution across the geography. These actions helped drive solid topline growth and expanded the Company’s market share position in on-premise beverages sales.
Not only does Torke have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Aeronautics from Miami University, but recently graduated with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management this past June. He resides in Kohler with his wife Heather and their three Children.
