Atlanta fintech community recognizes Cantaloupe Inc. with two technology awards
The Technology Association of Georgia has recognized self-service commerce technology provider Cantaloupe Inc. with two awards: the TAG Fintech Advance Award, on August 28, and the Innovation Driven Company Award, on November 6.
“We are thrilled to be honored by TAG with these two awards,” noted Ravi Venkatesan, CEO of Cantaloupe Inc. Venkatesan cited the company’s strong presence in the Atlanta community and its commitment to innovation as drivers of Cantaloupe’s success. “Most of the world’s payments are run through an Atlanta-based company, and this statistic highlights the profound impact of technology on our lives and underscores the need for businesses to stay ahead of the curve. In fact, the move toward self-service retail with cashless and contactless payments has been at the forefront of our innovation,” he said in a company statement.
With the 2024 TAG Technology Award for an Innovation Driven Company, Cantaloupe was recognized in the enterprise category, which includes companies with more than $50 million in revenue. The award recognizes companies across Georgia that have leveraged technological innovation to drive excellence. It was presented at the 2024 TAG Technology Awards.
