PayLab Announces Their DexLink VMS Software Will Be Available Free Of Charge

Calgary, Alberta, January 22nd, 2016 – PayLab Networks today announced vending operators will be able access our DexLink web based vending management software free of charge. DexLink leverages the latest in web based software tools to create a user friendly, intuitive interface that turns data into actionable intelligence. DexLink supports VDI standards and DEX protocols, giving operators access to inventory data, sales, alerts, scheduling, service history, cash accountability and more. And the fact that DexLink is completely cloud based means your data can be accessed from virtually anywhere and PayLab maintains and backs up all data for you.
Why Is PayLab Giving Away Software::
At PayLab, we believe vend management software is rapidly becoming an essential component of any modern vending operation. Based on a decade’s worth of operator data, we know that implementing a comprehensive VMS package can result in a 1 – 3% reduction in shrinkage, a 25% reduction in route operating costs and a 15% increase in same machine sales. But despite these numbers barely half of operators are currently using a dedicated VMS package and less than 6% of North American machines are reporting DEX data remotely via a connected telemetry device.
As the tools required to build, host and maintain large scale software deployments have become increasingly commoditized, it only makes sense to take the same approach with VMS software in order to drive the industry forward. PayLab remains focused on their hardware and payment offerings, but in the short term, offering a responsive VMS package free of charge gives us an opportunity to begin building a relationship with operators that will ultimately lead to accelerated revenue growth over the long term. In fact, operators will be able to pre-order PayLab’s 3G telemetry device with just a few clicks and those devices can later be coupled with PayLab’s Pivot Pay point-of-sale device.
How It Works
Operators can create an account by visiting dexlink.paylabnetworks.com. From there users will be guided through a simple sign up process. Once logged in you are free to import DEX data via a handheld device or our forthcoming tablet application. Alternatively, you can leverage existing VDI standards to integrate data from card readers or telemetry devices directly into DexLink’s cloud servers. We have a number of templates available that make account set up fast and efficient and we are always eager to look at further software development or custom reporting packages.
