Gimme Vending, an innovative device and software solution that enables vending machines to communicate sales, cash and inventory data to handheld devices, was one of 32 companies chosen to present at the upcoming Venture Atlanta 2015, the Southeast’s premier technology innovation event, according to a press release.
Venture Atlanta will be held October 20-21 at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Now in its 15th year, Venture Atlanta has earned a reputation for consistently identifying tomorrow’s cutting-edge technologies while also helping more than 200 companies secure over $1.5 billion in funding. This year’s presenters comprise the strongest roster yet of both early and later stage companies—showcasing the depth, breadth and opportunity within the region’s technology community.
“This year had one of the most competitive selection processes in the history of the conference, resulting in an extremely impressive list of presenting companies,” said Philip Lewis, principal, Fulcrum Equity Partners and a Venture Atlanta board member. “These high-caliber companies put the spotlight on Georgia as a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity and innovation that is driving attention and investment from top-tier VCs throughout the country.”
Gimme Vending announced earlier this month that it received $450,000 in seed funding.
