PayRange To Introduce Handheld Vending Machine Kits To Demonstrate Mobile Payments

April 11, 2017

PORTLAND, OR (April 10, 2017) – PayRange Inc., maker of the world’s simplest mobile payment solution for machines, will introduce at the 2017 NAMA OneShow a “Handheld Vending Machine.” Operators can now demonstrate the ease of mobile payments in a simulated vending experience. Once plugged in, the demo kit is immediately recognized as a machine in the PayRange mobile app.

The kits contain a small 4” x 6” plastic box with a vending machine picture on the cover and a hinged door. Much like a real vending machine, the door opens to reveal a BluKey device inside. However, for demo purposes and portability the BluKey is plugged into a 9-volt battery as a power source. Operators and their sales reps can take the demo kit on customer and prospecting visits to highlight all that PayRange offers beyond payment: promotions, coupon codes, and other rich consumer features designed to increase acquisition and retention. In addition, the kit includes a vending machine connector to give the option of showing the installation process that takes just seconds to upgrade machines.

When presenting the innovative PayRange solution, a live demonstration is the best way to ensure prospective and existing customers see the difference for themselves. “If a picture is worth a thousand words, experiencing something is a million words,” stated Paresh Patel, founder and CEO of PayRange. “Operators have asked us for a way to allow their customers to experience the solution without the need to haul in a vending machine to the presentation. This demo kit is the answer to that.”

The kits will be sold at the NAMA OneShow for an introductory price of only $25, which includes a carrying case and a preconfigured BluKey. A machine image is populated in the app and generic offers are already turned on making it even easier to get started. Kits are restricted to active PayRange operators only.
