PepsiCo Canada to distribute iconic Schneiders Pepperettes meat sticks

PepsiCo Foods Canada and Maple Leaf Foods Inc. have entered into an exclusive alliance for the distribution of meat snacks in Canada.

Under terms of the agreement, PepsiCo Canada will begin distributing Maple Leaf’s Schneiders Pepperettes snack-size premium meat sticks in Canada beginning Oct. 3.

The move is expected to broaden Canadian distribution of the iconic meat sticks in foodservice channels, as well as in the grocery, convenience and gas segments.

Schneiders has been making meat products in Canada since 1890. Schneiders Pepperettes snack-size products are available in 30g. and 32g. packages.
