NAMA has announced a special offer for member operators planning to attend the upcoming Micro Market Operations Seminar in Chicago, Ill., August 13 to14. Operators who register by Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, can attend for $149, a reduction of $140.
"The Micro Market Operations Seminar is powered by AdvancePierre Foods, The Hershey Company, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky and Mondelez International," said Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s director education/certification, in a prepared statement. "Their tremendous support made this special offer possible. We want as many operators as possible to gain valuable information from this seminar."
DeNardis stressed that the new seminar is operations-focused and will feature different content than what NAMA delivered to more than 275 attendees at the micro market session at this year’s OneShow. The detailed program will provide how-tos and specifics on topics ranging from merchandising and promotions to technology and fresh/fresh frozen food options. The seminar will provide many networking opportunities with participants, suppliers and micro market equipment manufacturers. Attendees will also be able to speak with micro market manufacturers about features and benefits of their products.
Registrants will have the exclusive opportunity to advance purchase the new book on operational guidelines for micro markets for just $95 (a $250 value). The manual is only available to registrants who purchase it in advance; it will not be sold at the seminar. It will be available to the industry for purchase on Oct. 1.
"While attending both days of the seminar is ideal, operators who can attend just one day will also gain valuable information," DeNardis said. Operators can register and find hotel information for the seminar on NAMA’s Website. They are invited to email DeNardis at [email protected] with questions and can also call the association’s headquarters at 312-346-0370.
