After a two and half year hiatus, Plant Based World Expo returned to the Javits Center in New York for a successful Dec. 9-10 run. According to the show's producer, the 100% plant-based business-to-business conference and trade show registered more than 3,100 visitors and booked over 200 exhibitors. Exhibit space grew more than 65% and the B2B audience more than doubled, compared to the 2019 event, producer JD Events reported.
“The turnout and response to PBWE 2021 was better than we expected,” said general manager Chris Nemchek. “You could feel the energy and excitement on the expo floor as exhibitors, buyers, manufacturers, investors and distributors networked, made deals and discovered how far the plant-based industry has come since our 2019 show and where we are headed.”
