Five Star Breaktime Solutions acquires PB&J Vending in Atlanta
Five Star Breaktime Solutions has acquired PB&J Vending, strengthening its presence in the Metro Atlanta region.
Over nearly two decades, PB&J Vending has served the Atlanta market. James Baker, founder of PB&J Vending, built a successful career in the automotive retail space before entering the vending industry. His transition began when he encountered repeated service issues with vending machines at his dealership, prompting him to operate the machines himself. This entrepreneurial move soon led to opportunities with other local businesses, and he launched PB&J Vending in 2006.
Over the years, PB&J Vending expanded its offerings to other refreshment services such as office coffee, water service, micro markets and pantry solutions. Alongside his wife Terri, James grew the business to serve nearly 100 customers across Atlanta. Their success is a testament to the deep relationships and trust built within the Atlanta business community.
Following the sale, James and Terri Baker plan to travel, enjoy their grandchildren, and support their church’s ministries.
What they are saying
“We are honored that James and Terri chose Five Star to carry forward their legacy,” said Pat Barger, Five Star’s director of mergers and acquisitions. “Their customer-first approach aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re excited to build upon the strong foundation they’ve created.”
