Coke Florida promotes Leroy Yancey Jr. to manufacturing VP

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC has promoted Leroy Yancey Jr. to vice president of manufacturing, a newly created role, Yancey now oversee Coke Florida’s manufacturing operations across its exclusive Florida territory, which includes facilities in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa.
Coke Florida produces more than 100 million cases of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages annually. Since its first acquisition of manufacturing operations in 2016, the bottler said it has invested significantly in modernizing its manufacturing facilities.
Yancey, who has more than 10 years’ experience in the Coca-Cola system, has been with Coke Florida for almost five years. He joined the company in 2017 as plant manager of the Tampa manufacturing facility.
Founded in 2015, Coca-Cola Beverages is a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler. Boasting a distribution territory covering more than 20 million consumers across 47 Florida counties, the company is the third-largest privately held and sixth- largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the U.S. It is also one of the nation's largest Black-owned businesses.
