Oct. 12, 2021

Frito-Lay North America Inc. a division of PepsiCo, recently announced site investments to "further enable the snack leader's ability to meet strong consumer demand."

These investments have already contributed the hiring of nearly 15,000 frontline sales and supply chain employees. More than 5,000 roles are actively being filled now through the end of the year, Frito-Lay said.

"Our strategic investments across key manufacturing sites have significantly expanded our capacity to support strong consumer demand," said said PepsiCo Foods North America chief executive Steven Williams.

Frito-Lay said it continues to make investments across its business, which includes funding for new manufacturing lines, warehouse expansions and distribution improvements. Its popular snacks include Cheetos, Fritos and Doritos, and emerging brands like Bare Snacks, Off The Eaten Path and Popcorners.

The average pay for Frito-Lay supply chain employees is $22.48 an hour, with an opportunity in some roles to earn up to $43.32 per hour.
