Innovative Foodservice Group names Bobby Hui director of operations

Bobby Hui has joined Innovative Foodservice Group as director of operations, according to an announcement by the Tampa, Fla.-based company.

Hui comes to IFG from the aerospace industry. He most recently worked at Blue Origin, Boeing’s commercial space division, where he was senior production control manager. IFG cited his experience in lean logistics, project management and modern procurement.

In other news, IFG announced that it has earned EPA’s Energy Star certification. The company now stocks and ships Energy Star foodservice appliances.

Innovative Foodservice Group is comprised of Louis Wohl & Sons, Beltram Foodservice, E.H. Thompson, B&J Foodservice, Beltram of the Carolinas, JES Restaurant Supply and Chef’s Warehouse. It has retail and distribution centers in Florida, Kansas and South Carolina.
