PRO Act Labor Relations Resolution Passes U.S. House

Feb. 10, 2020

The National Labor Relations Act may soon undergo a large series of amendments in favor of unionizing workers if the U.S. Senate decides to pass it, The National Law Review reports. The PRO Act, H. R. 2474, which the U.S. House of Representatives passed in a 224-194 vote on Feb. 6, can be viewed here.

Among other measures, the PRO Act would classify more independent contractors as employees and permit employers and unions across the country to agree on a "fair share clause," according to The National Law Review.
