Hostess Brands Names Andrew Jacobs Chief Commercial Officer

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hostess Brands, Inc. today announced that Andrew (Andy) W. Jacobs has been promoted to executive vice president and chief commercial officer, leading all commercial activities for the company. Previously, Mr. Jacobs was senior vice president and chief customer office at Hostess Brands, and prior to that, he served as senior vice president of strategic channels.

The new executive structure reflects Hostess Brands’ recent growth and innovation efforts, including a series of new product launches and aggressive shelf space growth strategies. Additionally, the new position places emphasis on penetrating various new white space channels, such as the recent expansion of the In-Store Bakery business and entrance into the frozen-food aisle.

Mr. Jacobs received a bachelor’s degree in history and communications from Denison University and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management.
